Disavow

I'm requesting to how to remove backlinks from ip address, Because we are getting lots of backlinks from a single ip address that does not have a domain name. https://www.troopmessenger.com is a instant messaging app and it is getting lots of backlinks from single ip address we need to remove that backlinks, if anyone knows how to remove that from ahrefs let me know in comment box, we already tried in google disavow tool but its still showing.

I would recommend implementing an option to disavow bad links. In the old reports, there were checkboxes with which bad links could be selected. In the new reports, there is no such option to select the links in the disavow file. We were very happy with the old reports and don’t want to use another tool only to disavow links. Please bring back the option.

I summited for bulk spammy links to Search Console almost 1 year and none of them removed and Really want to know why is not removed after long time.

Hidding disavow links should reflect the anchor text distribution as well

In the site explorer, would it be possible to have a slide/button to show ONLY the sources you've disawowed, with the same metrics as is in the site explorer, as usual? The disawow list is very limited in showing the metrics of a disawowed backlink, but the site explorer shows them (grayed out), it would however be nice, if you could see all the disawows here, as you would be better able to reconfirm or return back a potentially good backlink, which was disawowed. It would be helpfull if we can edit the Domains in the Disavow List manually, we have only the option "Delete all Links". I made one mistake and added a URL instead a Domain and now I can't just delete this URL from the List.

Hope we can do a bulking disavow domains later. Because adding one by one on the project is really wasting time☺. Imagine if we had 75+ domains to be disavowed.

hi, yes 8:48 am so, an issue with the indication of my DR due to spammy backlinks, I think ahrefs' DR misrepresents my DR and shows artifically higher than it should be that's because of plenty of artificial redirects let me give you an example we're talking about site: devsdata.com https://images.google.com.mt/url?q=http://devsdata.com/ plenty of artificial redirect like that one now, I'll of course take time and aim to remove them that being said, I don't have control over these links and it could be that i will not succced in removin them but ahrefs being a remarkable tool there should be a feature to disregard these link and don't take them into consideration when calculating a DR I mean, these links are invisible to Google so it's really a pity that ahrefs takes them into consideration when calculating dR what can we do about it? all i need is to see my TRUE DR right now, ahrefs show artificial, fake and false DR becaause of these spammy redirects Steven profile So I can see there is a surge in your backlinks and referring domains, so you mean there are spammy backlinks to your domains right some of them, yes especially the ones with redirects like that one images.google.com.pe/url?q=http://devsdata.com/ maps.google.pl/url?q=http://devsdata.com/ Steven profile Have you tried to disavow those spammy links? in google - yes but ahrefs still shows them if I disavow in ahrefs, will the change be reflected on my ahrefs DR or not? Steven profile Actually it will not affect the DR, it will help to remove those spammy backlinks from your backlinks profile yes, so we'll need to find the solution i mean, I appreciate the effort that ahrefs takes to be a remarkable tool but this is just simply a bug in your system and allows people to artificially increase the DR just in ahrefs, but not in google but of course the goal is to have ahrefs DR as a valid indicator of domain authority so, what can we do about it there need to be a solution this is obviously a big bug in the system if not addressed Steven profile That is a good question, but there is no quick fix on this topic. Let me explain first by how do we calculate DR To calculate DR, we consider: When a domain's DR is higher, more "link juice" is transferred to linked domains. The source domain splits its rating equally amongst the domains it links to. So: a DR-10 domain which links to three other domains can influence your DR more than a DR-80 domain which links to a million other domains. So your question now is if spammy backlinks point to your site and inflate your domain authority, how to get that fix. There are lots of factor put into consideration for a spammy score and in fact there is no predefine "spammy score" within Ahrefs cause there is no best way to define the link is spammy or not unless you check through it. However, we are working on an improved version of Site Explorer and that might be able to help further on this topic. We are working on some improvement on DR but again no confirm time when this will get fixed. quick solution would be just the ability to, perhaps only locally if the project is added, allow the users to submit a list of links that should be totally ignored.
